Research Project Manager 3

DESCRIPTION The Penn State College of Medicine is seeking a talented cryo electron microscopist to contribute to the performance and development of our new CryoEM facility. The College of Medicine has recently purchased a Titan Krios G3, equipped with Volta phase plates and a Gatan BioQuantum energy filter with K3 direct electron detector, optimally sited in newly renovated space and joining an existing JEOL 2100 CryoEM. The successful candidate would be expected to maintain optimal equipment performance and data collection as part of a team of investigators and students. They will be responsible for sample loading, microscope alignment, data acquisition, and training. In addition to these duties, they will be expected to help in collaborative research and technical development to ensure the Penn State College of Medicine remains at the forefront of CryoEM. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding. 83549

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
