Assistant Director of Event Technology I

Position Overview Assist Director in all duties regarding location audiovisual services, including:
employee relations and development, property and vendor relationships, security systems and sales.
Key Job Responsibilities (Weight %) Labor Management (45%) Direct day-to-day floor operations of technicians, including set and strike (ie.
audio, visual, lighting, rigging, etc.
), scheduling, etc.
Delegate tasks appropriately.
Staff Development (20%) Assist with developing healthy employee relations climate, including employee motivation and coaching.
Participate in employee appraisals, where appropriate.
Lead by example in portraying a polished, professional image according to the guidelines in the PSAV Employee Guide.
Customer Service (15%) Provide outstanding customer service by establishing excellent working relationships with property representatives, company team members, neighboring properties and divisions and all vendors.
Mentor technicians to also provide this level of customer service.
Training (10%) Effectively utilize all company computer systems and software programs and ensure technician members are properly trained.
Train and develop technicians with Director's assistance.
Event Preparation (10%) Provides preparation and follow-up on sales quotes using revenue maximization techniques in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
Required Skills Minimum of High School graduate/GED, AA/BS preferred.
Minimum of 2 or more years of audiovisual technical experience, including some previous supervisory experience.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of audiovisual equipment and computer software systems.
Ability to lead other team members and work effectively with clients.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
