Job Description:
Do you have a passion for both people and animals? As a ZooAmerica(R) Admissions Agent, you will help with guest entry into the Zoo, both from our main entrance and our Hersheypark(R) bridge entrance.
Throughout the day, ZooAmerica Admissions Agents may sell tickets and season passes, assist guests with entering the Zoo, answer guest questions, and more! This part-time seasonal position is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional guest service, following proper uniform and appearance standards, maintaining the cleanliness of your work environment, and completing specific job duties.
Positions are currently available for employees age 16 or older who are available to work throughout the fall for September weekends, Hersheypark Halloween and Christmas Candylane (September, October, November and December).
Job Functions:
Handle guest questions throughout the day about ZooAmerica and various zoo animals Sell various ticket programs and ZooAmerica Memberships through the use of the Galaxy ticketing system Learn to operate and use a computer-based ticketing program to ensure guests are assisted in a friendly and efficient manner Provide guests with handstamps entering from Hersheypark on the ZooAmerica Bridge and assist guests with re-entry to Hersheypark Provide guests with directions and resolve guest inquiries Comfortable handing money, including making change, as well as completing cashless transactions Adhere to department policy on cash handling and reporting Assist with ZooAmerica programming group check-in Communicate and work with other departments effectively to ensure the best possible experience for our guests Learn operational standards for the Guest Experience Department Assist in other areas of the Guest Experience Department as needed, including the Front Gate Adhere to operational standards for the Guest Experience Department at Hersheypark Basic
Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older on the date of applying Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shifts Must be able to speak and read the English language Additional

Must work well with other employees and be able to interact with our guests Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information Working Conditions:
Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week (Monday-Friday) throughout the peak season to include a rotation of mornings, evenings, and holidays Must be able to work at least 3 Saturdays and 3 Sundays per month from September through December Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to:
heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
Depending on the assigned location, this position can spend the majority of the time working outside.
Physical requirements include finger dexterity, constant standing, occasional sitting, frequent walking, bending, and reaching This job requires the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens, tickets, printed papers) Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
