SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible to work with business and technical stakeholders in the design, delivery and integration of solutions that depend on network infrastructure. Provide the highest level of escalation and oversight in the delivery of relevant technical value. This is an expert-level resource with strong integration, technical, project, and communications skills. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Either:
(a) Bachelor's degree plus six additional years of related experience or(b) ten years total of related experience required Adheres to and exhibits our organizational core values as outlined by Penn State Health KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Strong written & oral communication skills Strong project management skills Strong relationship management skills PREFERRED
Qualifications:
The person should be experienced in the design of:
Large, multi-building campus networks. Data Center and multi-Data Center design Wide Area Networks (WAN) design and implementation Design and experience in Cyber Security overlays and strategies Incorporating and migrating new business acquisitions to include new builds Experience in the specification and purchasing of network equipment Experience in the integration of all of the above The candidate should have experience in designing for performance and value in a multi-vendor solution architecture. The candidate must be able to mentor the above technologies, processes and designs needed to support an ever growing health system. Must be comfortable in interacting with CXO positions. Industry design certifications preferred. If chosen for this position, you may required to pass a Post Offer Employment Physical Exam in accordance with the measurements listed in the Work Task Analysis (WTA) report.
