What we're offering:
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to work with our Consultation-Liaison Service. Penn State Health is a growing health system in a dynamic health care market. The position is for a full-time Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor of Psychiatry. This position is integrated with a multidisciplinary team that has growing clinical, educational, and research programs. Our division hosts a successful interdisciplinary treatment team that includes transplant psychiatry, addiction medicine, along with a child and adolescent C-L services, and collaborates widely throughout the health system. Clinical responsibilities would include provision of psychiatric consultations to patients hospitalized on the various services of the general hospital with appropriate follow-up as indicated. Responsibilities may also include liaison with our rehabilitation services, establishment of diagnoses and provision of direct ongoing care and services to psychiatric outpatients in integrated clinics. Teaching responsibilities include teaching a variety of learners, including medical students, psychiatry and neurology residents, psychology interns, and fellows. What we're seeking:
The successful applicant is a collaborative and dynamic physician with an MD or DO degree. Board Eligibility/Certification in Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison psychiatry would be required.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
MedicineEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
